Stitch Social Banners

Josie Thomas and Jo Weller are public sector workers and banner makers in Swindon. Originally setting up a community stitching group - Swindon Stitch Social - this then led to a passion for banner making, blending artistry and activism. Their work celebrates local voices, encourages connections, strengthens community ties and highlights the power of collective creativity. Sewing is more than a skill for them - it is a way to amplify causes, stitching together stories of resilience, pride and power.
