John Bowden

John started working in the construction industry in London over 21 years ago and became active in the UCATT trade union movement, becoming the president of the Bermondsey branch. In 1982 John became a Labour Councillor for four years, representing Bricklayers Ward in London. John is active in the Blacklist Support Group and in 2009 was part of a substantial court case against the building industry that took 7 years and resulted in an apology and compensation.
