Carlos Gomes

Carlos comes from Lisbon and has been living in Berlin since 2013. He is a teacher and historian. In recent years, he has published two books on political monuments in Germany: ‘Lenin Lives: His Monuments in Germany’ and ‘Chile 1973: Monuments and Murals in the FRG and GDR’. He is currently researching the (neo-)colonial and imperialist history of the football World Cup.
