Juliet Jacques

Juliet is a writer, filmmaker and broadcaster, born in Redhill in 1981. She became a socialist as a teenager – a lonely position in Conservative Surrey in the mid1990s – and has remained so ever since, being involved with Corbyn’s Labour and contributing to a variety of left-wing media outlets. She writes about art, film, literature, music, politics, LGBTQI+ people and sport from a non-aligned socialist perspective, and has been involved with various activist campaigns for the last 25 years.
