Niwlen Ster

Niwlen is a Kernoweger—a Cornish speaker—and activist from the clay country, Kernow (Cornwall), currently based in Cardiff. She is a founder and editor of Sordya, the home of bilingual Kernewek/English leftist content for Kernow, and has written a number of articles there. She is also an artist and writer who is active in several Cornish language and cultural organisations. She works towards a free Kernow and a radical language community where there is room for onan hag oll—one and all—to live their whole life in Kernewek.
